Solomon Islands prestigious business event – The Business Excellence Awards is back.

The Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industry [SICCI] has officially announced that nominations for the 8^th Business Excellence Awards are now open, with the award event to be held on the 16 of November 2024.

Theme for this 8th Business Excellence Award is “Navigating Business Through a Challenging Landscape” – a theme that underscores local business’s resilience post COVID and navigating through constraints and barriers in the business environment.

Since its inauguration in 2013, Solomon Islands Business Excellence Award becomes an event to recognize the contribution of business community to the development and sustainability of Solomon Islands.

SICCI’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. James Dolarii said “the Business Excellence Awards is all about recognizing and acknowledging business excellence and contributions to the economy of Solomon Islands”.

“These Awards honors and recognizes the ongoing efforts of businesses and organizations to be the best that they can be, and SICCI is pleased to once again its partnership with the Solomon Islands Government in delivering this top business recognition event,” he adds.

This year, twelve (12) Awards will be given out to “best of the best” businesses who showcase exceptional performance, leadership, innovation and great contributions to the national economy while remain loyal to their businesses.

The awards are as follows:

New Business of the Year Award, Large Business of the Year Award, Medium Business of the Year Award, Small Business of the Year Award, Innovation & Technology Award, Agribusiness of the Year Award, Tourism Business of the Year Award, Exporter of the Year Award, Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Building and Construction of the Year Award, Business Contribution to the Community Award and Prime Minister’s Award.

These awards are intended to acknowledge business leaders in a variety of categories which seek to highlight elite standard of excellence in the business community to the development of Solomon Islands.

Submitting an entry provides businesses and organization the opportunity to benchmark against top performers across all industries and sectors.

The Solomon Islands Business Excellence Awards Winners are acknowledged as industry leaders and recognized as the elite in respective sectors.

Taking place across a spectrum of categories, any organization no matter how large or small can enter and winners are guaranteed of prestige profile and recognition.
